A panoramic view of Paris from the Eiffel Tower circa 1964

This is archive footage shot by an amateur filmmaker on a trip to Paris in summer 1964. It features stock footage of Maison de la Radio et de la Musique, nicknamed “maison ronde” or “the round house”, the HQs of Radio France, the Esplanade Joseph Wresinski, the Military School (Ecole Militaire), Jena Bridge (Pont d'Iéna), Bir Hakeim Bridge (Pont de Bir Hakeim), Isle of the Swans (L'île aux Cygnes), Grenelle Bridge (Pont de Grenelle), Rouelle Bridge (Pont Rouelle), Mirabeau Bridge (Pont Mirabeau), the Field of Mars (Champ de Mars) with a fountain, House of the Invalides (Hôtel des Invalides), Arc de Triomphe, as well as the French capital skyline with various buildings and embankments.
