Hustle and bustle on the Champs Elysees in Paris, circa 1964

This is archive footage shot by an amateur filmmaker on a trip to Paris in summer 1964. This footage features the busy Champs Elysees street in the French capital of Paris circa 1964. The video includes shots of Champs Elysees shops, public transportation, cars, a newspaper kiosk with a giant Martini logo on top, and the George V movie theater. The iconic West Side Story, starring Natalie Wood, George Chakiris and Richard Beymer, was in its second year at the theater.
